Sinopse:
Joel (Jim Carrey) apaixona-se por Clementine (Kate Winslet) em uma viagem. Foi amor à primeira vista. Mas, quando ele reencontra a grande mulher de sua vida, ela simplesmente não o reconhece. Ao procurar saber por que isso acontecera, Joel descobre que Clementine usou os serviços de uma empresa especializada em apagar certas lembranças da memória de seus clientes.
