Rc0752 R127s 50 Mil Réis Specimen 1916.

Specimen catalogado da Cédula de cinquenta Mil Réis da 14ª Estampa, grafado Brasil com “Z” emitida em 1916 e impressa pelo American Banknote Company (New York) para o Thesouro Nacional, República dos Estados Unidos do Brazil, com homenagem exaltando a Vitória.

Anverso: Preto sobre multicores, Medalhão oval ao centro com Ornato em guilhochê ocre, verde e violeta circundando o numeral “50”. Alegoria à “Vitória” com mulher sentada com Espada e Elmo à esquerda simbolizando o ”Triunfo” e mulher com coroa de louros à direita simbolizando a “Glória”.
Apresenta um carimbo “SPECIMEN” em vermelho e dois furos de cancelamento na margem inferior á direita no anverso.

This is a Fifty Mil Reis (50,000) banknote from BRAZIL (spelt Brasil).
Estampa 14ª which was issued at 1916, with serial 14ª and numeral 000000.

The quality of this note is simply unimprovable and the colors are bold and scintillating. A simply gorgeous and top quality note that is very hard to locate in such lofty condition. Unique in archive and interesting piece of Brazilian numismatic ephemera.
