Initial Setup - Setting the Clock and Day: 1. Plug the timer into an electrical outlet to fully charge the backup battery. 2. Use a pin or pen to reset the date and time. 3. Press the SET and CD buttons simultaneously to select the 12 or 24-hour format for the clock. 4. Press and hold the SET button for 2 seconds to set the current day, then use the + or - button to select the day. 5. Press SET to choose the hour, then use the + and - buttons to adjust. 6. Press SET to move to the minutes setting, using the + and - buttons to select minutes. 7. Press SET to complete the setup. Mode Setting: The timer has 3 modes: AUTO, ON, OFF. AUTO: The timer will follow the programmed schedules. ON: It is continuously powered on. OFF: It is powered off. How to Program the On/Off Schedule: To Set the Power-On Schedule: 1. Press + to navigate to the 1-ON event. 2. Press SET; the day will flash. Toggle to the desired day, Mon-Fri, Weekend, or all 7 days. 3. Press SET to set the hours, using + and - to adjust. 4. Press SET to set the minutes, using + and - to adjust. To Set the Power-Off Schedule: - Repeat the steps for setting the Power-Off schedule, but start by pressing + to go to the 1-OFF event. Countdown Function 1. While in clock display, press button once to display countdown timer. 2. Press SET button once, and OFF will flash. 3. Use + or button to select ON or OFF (If ON is selected, the timer stays on during the countdown period, and vice versa) Press SET button to advance to hour setting. 4. Use + or button to select hour, and then press SET button to advance to minute setting. 5. Use + or button to select minute, and then press SET button to advance to second setting. 6. Use + or button to select second, and then press SET button to complete setting. 7. While the timer is in AUTO mode, press CD button once to activate the countdown timer.
